I know today isn’t Friday, but I couldn’t resist the freshness of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew (ABDC) Season 4 ending, and this comic belongs in the “Friday Odd Jobs” category. (Besides, don’t we all really wish today was Friday instead of Monday? I’m just helping you with that.)
I thought it make sense for the Unemployed Pandas to become a dance crew and at least audition for ABDC Season 5. Plus, while they aren’t working, they might as well try, right?
Congrats to the Season 4 winners, We Are Heroes. I loved their concept, and they definitely deserved to win.
As a side note, there’s a lot of controversy about Beat Freaks, who probably should have won season 3 and also should have become the first female crew to win ABDC. I don’t think you can deny that they were the better crew…but you also can’t deny that Quest Crew had a super-inspirational performance at the end.
Regardless, I think each dance crew on ABDC is able to make their mark on the mainstream level and shed light on their passion and craft. In that respect, all the crews are winners, and should be proud that they got the opportunity to share their artistic vision with America.
